More like 20 years, isn't it? Unless of course, you're a millionaire - then you can just walk straight in.
I was there a few weeks back. Lovely island, but smaller than I imagined. Oh, and the speed limit is 40.

Jersey is a fantastic island, especially in summer. To purchase property, you would need to have lived on the island for 19years, or you will have to live in non-qualified bedsit or apartment and pay a rent. I recommend looking on the following website:
