Nothing done on my Scooby it stays clean

The Welsh Dragon is acid etched into the glass the only way you could remove it is by smashing it and that would be a shame.

I have done other cars I also do mirrors but not just your normal type I only do 1 of a kind as you will see how much work go's into making them but the results are....well I'll let you judge for yourself...

That's the first football mirror my next will be a Man.U mirror

Acid etching is an established process and you're obviously good at it.

A bloody great big Welsh dragon on the rear window of a car though....? Nah.

The theme of my TX3 was St George slaying the dragon, I didn't get to finish the job. On the quarter/side windows I was going to etch St George on his horse which I think would of looked really good, as I had the UK plates I also spray painted my bonnet also a 1 of a kind.

When I do a back window people will get the sides done when the sun hits the glass my etchings really do stand out.

This is the second bonnet. I didn't want my TX3 to be the same as every1 else as allot of cars had opposite coloured bonnets, I love the UK so that was my theme.

Another: Evo I did the back window and as you can see he wasn't happy with just the flag he wanted more and got it

and yes it is a washing line but WTF has it got to do with tattoos on cars

The problem, as i see it, is its permanency. Sort of limits your audience if you want to sell a car with an Aussie flag etched into the window.

You have to remember this is just my hobby I love England and that was going to be my theme for my TX3 if I wanted a Scooby I was to sell my 2 cars to get the 1 I am happy with the scoob but my TX3 was sold with the dragon on the back window and was advertised with the 1 of a kind etched dragon and the couple flew from Sydney 900k's to Brisbane to pick it up then they drove it home.

If they want2 they could replace it, you can pick up a back window at the wreckers for $50,00 or pay $200-$250,00 for a brand new 1 fitted its not that of a big deal.

The Australian flag, this guy is only 20yo second car and he like the rest are big into the car club and in Oz they love their clubs so he wanted something different on his car that no other car had or could get.
This Lad who owns it is all about Australia so hens the Australian flag.

I'm not out to sell you anything, I am in Australia and this is my hobby

Some people tattoo body parts I tattoo car parts, my ways cheaper to put on your car and its cheaper to replace.

The only reason I posted this is because no1 does what I do and when the sun hits these designs they do pop out they are amazing.

But anyways thanks for reading.

cheers

Adrian.

Thanks for your comments.

Yes this could be done by sand/bead blasting but I would never use it on a car, when using acid there is no force/pressure on the glass also by using the acid you don't get that rough sandy feeling by using the acid you get a more smooth feeling and no effect to the windows, mirrors, Glasses shower screens, glass doors.

But the 1 thing the acid can't do that the sand/bead blasting can is perspex and being in car clubs this also gets asked to do just like on your Sub boxes a brand name Clarion or Sony would blasted on to give that etched look.

cheers and thanks again for your comments and no this is not for my scooby

Adrian.

These designs are drawn out then cut out with a scalpel then acid etched.

The owner of this TX3 is into tribal art but not a big fan on skin tattoos It's just a shame the sun wasn't out when this was taken.

You surprised me there Tel. The OP appears to live in Queensland, so Australian window etching will go down reasonably well.
