Anyone caught this on BBC4?

Yes it seems pretty good so far. It's not been Hollywooded up, so is filmed in Lillyhammer (not some Aspen ski resort). Not all in English. Not all pretty actors/actresses, etc.

It's kinda obvious where the two stories were going in the first two, but as long as they don't dumb it down (and I don't think they have), then it looks like one to stick with.

 

Have it recorded and was hoping for a cross between The Sopranos and The Killing. It got a poor review in the Times, but based on the above I will give it a try.

 

Bif fan of BBC4, it's proper TV. They have had some top stuff on there including the original Killing, Wallander and did anyone else catch Rubicon?

I love "Only Connect" too, bit clever for me but Victoria Coren is

 

Episode 1 is off iplayer already so that's a no go then for trying to watch it from the beginning.

 

Loving this, especially his attempt at bribing the official in episode 1

 

Slightly less enchanting but ill persevere
