Hydraulic tilting car transport trailers
Anyone got an idea who makes the lightest?
There's a company on Ebay atm, that make their own and with a hydraulic ram, it comes in at 600kgs, but i'm curious if anyone knows of a lighter make/model?

having used a tilting bed and a fixed bed I wouldnt bother with the tilting type again.
They are fine when the car is able to be driven onto the trailer but when the car is broken, a tilting bed is a real pain as you have to winch your car up an incline.
Stick with a fixed bed with ramps and the money you save can go towards your car and they are lighter to!
Cheers

Brian James have a tilting Clubman which if you directly compare the specs to the fixed bed with ramps, it's the same weight.
We had a tilting Brenderup before and we never struggled winching a car up onto it, but i know what you mean.
