Default Need to fix a mate up with a woman

A good mate of mine (Not J4ckos mate) needs a lady, he is 31, nearly 32 and hasn't had much action recently, his mates tend to be married or not local so doesn't go out to clubs and stuff very often, work isnt exactly teeming with eligible women so he is a bit stuck, he is a decent bloke and deserves a bit of happiness ( I know a woman doesn't guarantee this, far from it in some cases)

I have suggested internet dating but he doesnt seem to be enthusiastic, I figure the internet is great for getting stuff, if I were in his position I would be like a rat up a drainpipe, there must be some nice ladies out there in the same boat.

I need to hear of some positive experiences of internet dating that I can use to bolster his enthusiasm for it, as to be honest I get sick of him gazing longingly at the ladies of the office who are either married or too up their own behinds.

If anyone has a sister, sister in law, ex wife or whatever to donate I would be grateful, between 20 and 40, between 8 and 20 stone whatever

Why don't you take him out and give him a hand? Everyone needs a wingman now and then!

haha, I'm in the same position as your mate. Just been working and not focussing on the important things in life, like happiness for example

Just signed up for this eHarmony malarky (arm twisted to breaking point by mates), interested to see how it goes.

Is used to have a wingman, as mentioned, but he got married and the good times are gone, lol.

I'll let you know if anything comes of this internet dating thing then, if you don't hear from me then I'm might have been chopped into bits and placed in ziplock bags in a bunny boilers freezer

Don't Match.com guarantee you'll get hooked up with a stalker within 3 months?

Wingman, he wouldnt get a sniff if I was in the vicinity

Anyway, I am married and have retired from such antics, plus I am nearly ten years older than him, might try something like that though one day and just introduce him.

Think it is shyness really, fear of knockbacks etc, shame as he is a damn decent chap.

This is what my mate did for me when I was in a similar situation: www.mysinglefriend.com

I'm now married with kids and mortgage, not sure if that's a good thing or not

Datingdirect (before it all changed and went ****) is where I met my wife of 4 years now!! And my sis met her hubby.... And my Aunt met her new hubby....

Nowt wrong with interweb dating, I'd have never met my missus even though she was in the same area, our paths just wouldn't have crossed and we get on great

There are loads of ppl getting hooked up through the internet dating sites, I believe it is growing rapidly in terms of ppl finding long term relationships. Go for it, what has he to lose, surely it's worth a try!

Internet dating is okay and I would say "normal" these days.

I used to meet girls from compuserve chat too many years ago. Oh my my my, lots of odd people were on there....

J4CKO dating can offer you,

A bloke, Cheshire, 31, GSOH, own car, good job, 6 ft2, slim, intelligent, single, not majorly mental or stalker-ish.

Scoobynet now has a new role as a computer dating site.
