Found a peta website. had a video that started playing. Wouldn't have watched it but it was already playing.
Never in my life have i ever been so distressed by a video or image before. Bashing animals on the head, picking it up and swinging it by its back legs on to the floor like a ragdoll,
It was just sat there, i thought it's ok, it died instantly. at least it was so sudden it was virtually painless.
Then it blinked.
Then they cut its skin off while it was still alive and it was squirming. They then showed an image of it with no skin just moving about.
I've always seen comments that people put to 'emotional' videos that bring tears to their eyes and laugh at it.... That video i just saw literally brought tears to my eyes and i nearly lost it.
Probably the worst thing i've ever viewed.
I don't think i'll be watching or reading anything on the second thing you posted about.

Its one reason why I'm so against our over-dependance on China - it still has alot to learn and alot to sort out before I can ever respect it as a nation.
As for the olmypics swimmer? She's a freak. Anyone comming close to or beating world records is either a freak of nature or had some form of "help" to give them a advantage (drugs/doping or whatever).

This is very bad reporting in order to manipulate the minds of people.
Womens 400m medley final... 4mins 28.4secs
Mens 400m medley final... 4mins 5.1secs
So she was actually nowhere near the male winner and should not be referenced to beating him. The media have concentrated on the last 50m of the race where I suspect this Ryan chap strolled to victory and eased up where as she was giving it everything she had. He was over 23secs quicker over the whole 400m, thats near enough a full length of the 50m pool.

Can't deny that it is certainly strange that she could suddenly improve her personal best by 5 seconds. You can't expect anything different to a lot of pertinent questions being asked about it.
The Olympic Committee say however that she passed drug tests so what else can one do about it? They got quite shirty about it and have completely defended her massive increase in performance.

We all support their cruelty every time we opt for the cheaper item in the supermarket, or apathetically buy without a care as to where it was manufactured. I avoid Chinese products like the plague and am happy to pay more. Any opportunity to buy British I take, and the sooner the British majority do this the sooner our economy might start to recover.
