You can do it but you still need a solicitor. Contact right move direct and they should advertise it for you.

i recently put my old house up for sale or rent by putting a sign up out the front. get one made up for £20 and i had it rented out 2weeks after we moved out. if you live on a busy road and are not in any rush then stick a board up and take a punt.
if it sells then you could save a grand or two.
estate agents are over priced, big ego useless *****. the sooner the house selling industry cuts these people out of the loop the better.

put it on rightmove via a cheap online agent, about £200

estate agents really take the ****, jobsworth, think they know the job when they prob never owned/bought a property themselves

sell it yourself via rightmove

Some agents are great, most are not!

Most want 2%+ sale price as commission, so a 150k house sold private will save you 3k commission if you can do it. However it can be hassle for selling etc, whereas renting not so much. Selling is to make sure You are available for viewing, then theres the lack off brouchers in estate agency's windows, online web, media etc.

Good luck to anyone if they can do it, I can see why they would
