Contact lenses over the net?
#1
I would like to get daily disposables cheaper, so figure the net's a good place I've seen an optician and had a fitting recently, so no worries about persciption/fitting.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Its not really answering your question, but I used to use 1 day disposables and they knackered my eyes. They cause blood vessels to mutuate and can cause blindness. I now have the ones that you can sleep in- I put them in and don't do anything with them for 30 days. No cleaning, no messing about, and they fixed the problem with my eyes. Also you can watch TV in bed!

Also try http://www.directlenses.com/
I have never used them but someone from my work has, he said that their prices are very reasonable compared to his local optician.
Is there anything you can't get off the net??

Thanks folks. Victoria, sorry you had grief..I've been wearing them on and off for 5 years with no problems, I have to say ure case is the exception rather than the rule.
I tried the contacts u mentioned, they couldn't get any to fit me comfortably (-7.5 dioptres both eyes and a slight astigmatism )

I've also used Post Optics for the last five years.
Excellent service and very cheap especially if you buy 6/12 months lenses and solutions together.
