Add THESE and you can use normal ground coffee, dropping the price to ±5p/cup.
Anyway it's more like 30 - 35p a cup
Rumour also has it that the patent on the capsules expires sometime soon meaning there will be nothing to stop other coffee supplies from copying them and undercutting Nespresso if they so desire.

Mine arrived today Some doubts on HotUKDeals as to whether JL will honour the £40 of vouchers on this, but as they promoted it on the page for the item they are on a sticky wicket, albeit covered by the 'terms and conditions' get out clause. See if they crumble when faced with having to appear in small claims court over a measly £40

I have the citiz Nespresso with the milk frother,
I bought the coffeeducks and to be honest, it is a pain cleaning them after every use. I also found that I had to use the very strongest espresso grounded beans as they dont seem to fill an espresso glass as well as the original caps. For ref though I use genuine ristretto caps too and they work out around 28-30p per cup, not 50p.

When we first tried Nespresso at my mates place in France, his wife made our morning brew with two ristretto's per cup. Should be getting both my first batch of Nespresso capsules and my coffee ducks in the next few days, so I'll be experimenting.

Quick update....
Got my £40 of John Lewis vouchers through, effectively making the machine £60
The Coffeeduck pods have been a failure, buckling in the machine under the heat and pressure, and even using Taylors Hot Lava Java strong espresso ground coffee, is nowhere near the taste from the proper pods. The Indriya, Fortissio Lungo and Ristretto are especially good.

But whilst I'm here, if anyone has bought a Nespresso machine in the last few months, or is thinking of buying one before June 2nd, I have a voucher to claim £50 Nesresso Club credit if you want it
