fair enough tbh, i dont think its meant in malice. any humour just cant be compared to reality.
but i dont think thats the reasoning to post. yes its in refference to a truly horrific event that took place, distgusting and troubling behaviour that slayed so many innocent people, that understandably cuases so much trouble to a large % of western human race (and obv others)

but context has to be applied buy the joker and recipient. almost all jokes have a subject that is the "butt" of the joke.

i dont think the o.p or anyone that laughed at it has the intention of mocking those killed or affected by it.

i can laugh at jokes about very serious issues that have affected my life, without feeling offense.

however as posted its down to the individuals interpritation

i dont think its a representation of an individuals moral standing tbh.

i very much like humour, in just about all fashions, however jokes told in an agressive sexual manor that use the sexual refferance as the point of humour dont make me laugh (although i dont find offensive) eg roy chubby brown and his similar counterparts.

So your logical conclusion was, a German company demanded payment for a gas they exclusivelysupplied to kill millions of human beings, a debt so large that it required one of the wealthiest EU countries to seek a EU bailout.

This country has a nack of turning things into jokes, think back to the twin towers, Japanese Tsunami etc etc, the jokes are out within a day or so, it's what we do.
