Default Some old cars I found on my way home last night....

Heres some last night, on the A41 near whitchurch, on the way home. I asked the owners if I could take some pictures at no profit of course and they kindly let me. Guess you dont get unless you ask!

Go do Route 66, it's that ^^ the whole way from Chicago to LA

I so want an old petrol pump, I'd fashion it so my pressure washer hose came out of it!

I was at an out of town industrial estate recently and came across a workshop where they had a number of old classics being restored. This included an Aston with Swiss plates in reasonable condition but obviously needing some work - rust on wings for example. I was showing an interest and the guy said that it was a DB6 Volante but only 60 of that particular model had been made. Told me guy had paid £650k for it Now I find that hard to believe but the chap was quite serious and not taking the proverbial as far as I could tell.

I LOVE that old petrol pump.

I remember filling my old Ford Escort MkI for less than £5 from one of those. Well, watching while the forecourt attendant filled it, there were no self-service in those days.

6/8d a GALLON! (That's 34p to you youngsters!)
