Petrol prices going down???
three weeks ago £1.36.9
last two weeks £1.32.9
today £ 1.30.9
prices are our local Tesco for std unleaded, momentum (98) or whatever they call it is £1.35.9
Are 'we' due another hike? this seems the be the case when prices drop for a short period of time...

Abuse it while you can?
Saying that, how sad is it that we are happy that it's ONLY 1.30 a litre....

Did it not mention in the paper that oil prices have dropped by nearly 20% but the petrol price has only came down by 2%.

Got a posh letter back from the local ******** mp, Nic Dakin re. my email to him about the FairFuel campaign.
Usual Labour drivel, totally missing my point and just bemoaning the coalition for everything else instead

Out of the £1.30 we pay at the pump, only around 50% of that is actually fuel.
So say £0.65. You think with a 30% reduction in the price if crude should translate into a around £0.19 reduction?
Wrong, as this excludes refining and transportation costs.

That is so typical of modern politicians, w4nkers the lot of them. I watched Clegg on the Andrew Marr Show a few weeks ago and every question he was asked he avoided answering and just slagged off Labour instead.

I would not even bother writing to mine. He would just come back with a right load of old flannel about something not related to what I would have asked

Good thinking.
I reckon they should all be eliminated and that we should start again!

I can remember when we were all worrying about the approach of the 10 shilling gallon!
It used to be 5 shillings a gallon of Esso 5 star!

Approximate the same price as the yanks pay right now!
I was there 2 weeks ago, and it was USD3:31 a gallon.
OK, slightly smaller gallon, but it shows how much we are being shafted
