As annoying as pslewis can be sometimes, I actually admire the old codger - he's a national treasure.
As has been said he casts his line out and reels them in, sometimes his threads can be very predictable and rehashes of a previous thread, but they are 99.99% amusing and NSR did get very boring without his contributions.
I will probably be banging my head through the wall soon enough wondering why I praised him when he winds me up again, but until then pslewis for Prime Minister.

I remember that too. He was at his peak then but has since dropped away like an 80s pop band into obscurity just to be wheeled out again from time to time to try and rehash one of the classic hits.

A lot might not agree with his views but he does wake the place up a bit and does cause some funny debates.
He is like the old mad uncle that have to invite to a family party, that everyone groans about but secretly loves, as waiting for them to come out wth something odd - yet some of what Pete does comes out with does make sense.
I can remember his posts about oil changes - they where hilarious !

God, those were the days .....
Everyone on here were buying KnockLinks and ranting about how marvellous they were - I renamed them CockLinks and it stuck for many years
Don't get me back onto the ***** who listed what needs to be done about Oil Changes - one bloke actually soaked his Oil Filter overnight, returning each hour to top it up!! I was on the floor in stitches over that one .....
Then there was the plonker who was so **** scared of the car that he renewed the MAF sensor every service .... I kid you not, I did have some fun with him!!
Then there was the Gold Wheel 'MariGold' brigade who liked Gold Wheels - they would attend Gay Meets and suchlike .....
