Buying a small amount of non-building land?
#1
Crazy idea maybe but I'm fed up of having to travel miles & miles to go and see some trees. I hear farmland can be quite cheap ~ £1-2k per acre ???
How would/could you go about purchasing some land to grow a forest on - or whatever???
What pitfalls?
Cheers
Mick

Sounds like an excellent idea but unless you bought a preconfigured forest you might have a long wait.
But I have no idea how you would go about it unless you spoke directly to a farmer who owned a forest he wanted rid of.
Sorry

If you wanted pre-existing woodland try www.woodlands.co.uk.
Otherwise for agricultural land try the local estate agents, they will be able to guide you.
