I only drive in the bus lane at allowed times and with my first time driving in Oxford and not paying attention the bus lane ended and the sat nav said turn left at the roundabout.

I got in the left lane in time for the roundabout to find about 30 more feet of bus lane... oups! if I was a regular there then I would have cut in late, after the last bit of bus lane but never mind.

2 weeks later £30 fine

So even if it's just a few feet - becareful!

You've just reminded me of a small incident I had in the late '80s when I was stopped in central Oxford by a policeman standing in the middle of the road, when I asked what the matter was, he stated "You're doing in excess of 10 times the 4 mile an hours speed limit, down the wrong way of a one way street for buses only". Yep I was lost too, no points, no fine and no Sat Nav.
