Lots of happy memories of 'old' Blyton, I ran 11 WYIOC trackdays there. Must pop down and have a look at the new layout and 'proper' surface.

Haven't been down myself for a bit either, not since the new lease and surface. I've heard £150 buys you the track for yourself for a whole day

Howard used to do midweek sessions for £60 cash. I taught a couple of WYIOC'ers kids to race on there midweek, a 15yo and an 11yo £150 would get you a full day at Cadwell, a much better circuit, if not the best drivers track.

I was in Blyton village today visiting friends on the way home I nipped in to see what was on track. I could hear something was on track from friends back garden.

Seemed to be mainly Toyota Celicas, with a rather nice Starlet Glenza, which span at the last corner before the pits, but was well held on the tarmac, looked like a very small number of cars from my few minutes at the venue.

I feel for anybody running, organising or booking a track day at the moment, we have had wet weather ever since the drought orders came into effect on 5th April.

I am hoping to pop up tomorrow afternoon with the camera, spooks34 I will be wearing light blue waterproofs if you see me and have a minute say hello.

D
