This was my favourite back in the day.

Why is it better to be a sheep-******* than a passenger in a Lada?

It's less embarassing being seen getting out of the back of a sheep.

I sure I heard those jokes in the 80's, but it was Skids rather than Lada.

Lada and Skoda were the choice of jokes when I was a kid in the 80's but I dont recall any of these.

When a Vectra Taxi shunted my Polo into a Lada comming the other way. The vectra had a well smashed front end, bonnet and cracked windscreen, my Polo was so bent the front doors wouln't open properly (sill and roof had bent behind the front doors) The front of my polo which hit the Lada mullurad the front wing, bumper, steering rack and suspension....

The Lada?

Just a cracked headlamp and a scuff and dent in the front bumper!

many years ago I remember getting in a Lada taxi, at the end of the long journey the meter was at around £35, I do recall the taxi driver not being best pleased when asking for the money and I replied I didn't want to buy his car!
