Default Bargain - let us raveth like t'was 1999

Our quarterly bonus at work looks good for this month so me and the Mrs decided we deserved a treat for being pretty ******* awesome parents.

Cue, Digital Society pres. Full on Ferry on the June Bank Holiday.

https://www.facebook.com/events/159541297497601/

For any trance heads out there, a respectful line-up I think you'll agree

Now tickets will be standard price so unfortunately I couldn't source a bargain there, even from my contacts within.

But due to raving with the fairer sex, hotel accomodation is required.

TopCashBack do Laterooms at 5.05% currently with The Discovery Inn at £35 on their site.

Buuuuurt, TCB also do Expedia at 7.32% so I thought I'd search for the above hotel on there...

£30

Boom! Worth looking around, plus heavily discounted parking next door at a secure car park. It works out cheaper to drive the 100 mile round trip in the Scoob than get train tickets.

So that, parking, rave tokens and the tickets shouldn't rape my wallet too much, plus a free babysitter in nana makes this a sweet deal we cannoth refuseth

Erm, as you were...

Just checked and the cheapest was £29 but only 5% cashback and a further walk, not so good parking.

I'll keep it in mind for the future though as it's a very reasonable price. The Discovery Inn's secure parking did it for me as rooms are usually around £40-60.

Nothing says Superstar deejay like "John Askew"

I'm sure he's the fellow that laid my carpets.

You're supposed to miss them so much that you can't wait to go and pick them up, at least that's what other friends of ours with kids always used to claim. Personally I can't wait until we can leave him with granny for an overnight stay

Isaacs now 1 so I'm ok with him having my mum babysit him here, cos she smokes and I'm paranoid about odours around her house. As for Nats family, well generally they're all fcukin' retards anyway. Her mums antics have been well documented on here and I don't trust either of her parents with a child as they think passive smoking does no harm

Jeff, simple answer my cheerful friend - Nats coming, that's why. Somewhere for her to get ready and change etc. I'm ok going on a train but have to make 'alterations' for female company

Plus we can have post rave passion with the worry of waking Isaac up

Looks awesome! Gonna have to get my dance hat on again soon, now I don't work weekend. Ferry is fooking awesome and a dead on bloke from memory, last seen him at Godskitchen a good few years back and the doors were blew aff the building...I even think Judge Jules is great even if he isn't the best technical DJ.

I've seen a few of the DJs on the roster so know a few sure bets. Some guys I've not seen like Askew, Oaky, The Judge and Ottaviani. It'll be good as the main arena upstairs has the headliners whilst downstairs in the 'club', the others put a really good show on trying to out do those above them

Don't think I'll be in pre party duties though like last years summer event but hey ho, still gonna drop some shapes for 12 hours
