Hi folks just a quick question

The water pressure here is very very poor, the jet wash I use is the least powerfull I could find, and it still sruggles, there have been some adverts recently from karcher that state that all their jet washes can be used with a water butt so this could be the answer for me

Does anyone run a jet wash from a water butt and if so does it work well ?

i run mine fine from a water butt. its the cheapest karcher around and works fine, in fact it works better than from the now banned hosepipe.

just need to make sure pressure washer inlet is lower than the water butt outlet so there is a bit of pressure.

Pressure washer power is not necessarily related to volume of water expelled. Your mains water pressure may be better utilised by a better quality more powerful pressure washer than a low power but poor quality one.

I fancy trying this, maybe with some sort of filter to get all the **** collected before it hits the washers pump.
No doubt severn trent will impose a hose pipe ban soon enough to kick start me.
