Ok, so my missus so wants me to have Gout but I don't think it is, pain is on the top of my foot, sometimes I cant walk on it, no significant swelling, not hot or red and it isn't my toes, it is kind of the top of my foot. I think I have "Extensor Tendonitis", anyone had it, will make an appointment for the Docs tomorrow but I think I caused it, set off on my bike and my shoes were too loose so I tightened them up probably more than I should, following day it was sore and its got worse on and off.

Anyone had this, does that sound plausible or am I a big fat gouty pig

Joking aside, my mate has just been told she has gout. She was not amused when I cracked up laughing. She then bored me rigid for an hour telling me how painful it is. You have my sympathies.

 

This is sore but it isnt like people describe Gout where you cant touch it, this just hurts to walk.

 

Dont really drink that much, fairly certain it isn't Gout, the symptoms don't fit but my missus keep telling everyone I have it !

Yes I know, lots of reasons but I am fairly certain its the Tendon thing, this isn't at a joint.

 

The missus, a physio, says it's not gout due to lack of redness and swelling.

Apparently my Internet diagnosis was correct, Extensor Tendonistis, not Gout so have celebrated with a fair few cans, couple of glasses of wine and one of Tia Maria as there was sod all else, Jesus, women drink some ickky horrible, sickly **** !
