Best company for a replacement windscreen
The heated screen on my Focus has developed a crack which I know can be sorted out under my insurance.
I'm either going to use Autoglass or National Windscreen (purely as they're both local). Anyone had experience, good or bad, with either company.

Had auto glass replace a windscreen on my old mg zt and they did a side window when I locked keys in boot. Did a fine job on both occasions.
Having said that we use national windscreens at work and never had a issue either.
Whichever way you go it's going to come down to the fitter on the day I guess.

As above mate no problems with either.
But caution,
read your insurance, i didnt i called autoglass, they did the job and i paid my excess, thought it would be job done.
But then got a bill from the insurance company as i didnt go through them and use THEIR approved company, so cost me another £100

Hi mate. I worked for auto glass for 13 years. Can't fault the materials used. Only the best type of equipment. Make sure that your heated rear is covered for element damage as most ins co's only cover if glass is broken. Mobile or branch is ok as long as you can get it under cover as those windows are bonded in and it needs to be dry.
