Lead singer of the the very first artificial boy band. I'm not sure if thats a credible achievement or not, but considering that today the manipulation of music by the industry for its target audience is still practiced today, its quite some legacy to be part of.

RIP Davy, you may have been monkeying around, but your producers knew exactly what they were doing.

I don't. I hate the bleedin' Beatles.

I loved the Monkees........used to collect the bubble gum cards, and stick them in a book. Then one day, when I got to school, it had fallen out of my bag, and on the way home, I saw it torn into little pieces all over the pavement! I was gutted!

I have to admit. The Monkees were of more to my liking than the Beatles.

Maybe its due to the Scouse affect where some of the band members disappeared up their own arsehole. Although Harrison was cool.
