Just a quick question - when I sell something on Ebay, are my name (i.e. real name not user id) and address visible to that person sending me money ?
I am paranoid about home security and don't want my home address shown or known, simple as that.

I suppose I could buy something and find out myself if I can see that buyers details - but thought it would be quicker asking you guys !

Just had a look on my paypal and recently sent some money for an item. (not as a gift BTW ) i cant see there address on the transaction.

No mate, your details aren`t visible. As a buyer, your name and address is visible to the seller.

No. A buyer would have no reason to see your details anyway. A seller obviously sees the details....to post to Unless, you buy from a company which has their details on the listing

As above, Its only visable on a paypal payment if you are the buyer NOT the seller, Although as a buyer you can request personal info via ebay if you are entered into a transaction with someone, Or if it is a business account it IS visable by clicking the business details
