Default 11 yr old lucky b'stds!

Did anyone else wake up to watching 11 yr olds with massive smiles on there faces driving round a closed circuit learning how to drive. It is all to do with teaching kids young so they learn safety before learning 'gta car culture'. I would have loved that when I was younger, being from country always had field cars but this is next level. They are suggesting that it should be on the curriculum and it will save 200 lives a year??? Not sure how they can estimate that figure.

I'm surprised no one else has said, but your choice of words isn't quite right!

Matty - don't worry I saw the article:-) Along with my 10year old, you could literally hear his mind working out how long until he can do that. 30 seconds later "Dad for my next birthday can I go driving" :-)

Long time ago when I was in high school, one of the teachers bought an old car and taught us hos to drive in the school playground.

Too young, I don't think anything learnt will be remembered when on the road for real at 17. the way the article started was as if kids would be let loose on real streets, rather than an advert for a driving school.
