Santa Pod -StuntFest
Anyone been to this before?
It's on this Saturday and was thinking of taking my son.
What happens if it rains (apart from getting wet!)?

The jet car is amazing to see, Terry Grant is also very good. Looks to be a good show. Were going to "The Main Event" in early June which is a fantastic few days.

Not a lot, lol.
I haven't been to that particular event before, I've been to drag events so once you get a spot of rain thats it, nothing happens.
However, for this event, looking at the line up of events I can't see any reason why things would stop if it rains so you should be ok for most of it I would think.

Thanks chaps.
With regards to the grandstand and seating - is it best to get there early and get a seat (6 year old will want to sit!) or does stuff happen in different areas?

When I have been to the drag events there are usually plenty of spaces in the stand, tends to get more people filter in closer to when the top fuel cars start to make an appearance so for this event probably won't be too packed I wouldn't imagine.
I'm not sure with this event how much of it they will do on the strip itself? There is a stunt area behind the grass banked area where the monster trucks go round at the events I have been to. Most people watch them from the banking (standing with the strip behind you) and from memory there was a small "made up stand" in that area too.
You will probably find yourself walking around different areas too.

Zip,
Most importantly make sure you get some good ear protection for the lad as some of the cars there can damage your ears especially the young ones.
