These are common place as soon as you head east, the stickers actually come with the toilet when you buy it. why would someone not want to sit on a toilet? Could it be something to do with the dead skin, **** and **** that is probably on it!?

In many parts of the world squatting is the norm, the toilets are holes in the ground with foot points on either side. Takes some getting used to I can tell you
Also many cultures don't use toilet roll either, they wash their bums, then wash their hands, which to be honest, when your diet contains a lot of chillies, makes sense, the cooling effect is fantastic

It is perfectly true that some foreigners think that the way to use the toilet is to stand on the bowl and do it. This used to happen in Canada when I was doing my training there in company with students from all over Nato.
They had to be told the western way to use our toilets.

but really do foreign students have that different a sewage/toilet set up?
the diagram is great lol, but thats whats known as "top decker" and the poo should be going in the cystern lol, and then the lid replaced, makes for weeks of brown smelly flushing water lol.

It's nothing to do with not wanting to sit on the porcelain, they just aren't familiar with it

People from the east also spend a lot less time doing there business in and out in a couple if minutes none of this 15 mins reading the paper lark

Ultimately, it's just asking for trouble as, men being men, will just have a competition to see how can drop a log in the pan from the greatest height....

I always try to complete a Sudoku while on the toilet .
As I am progressing in the level of difficulty , I started to drink my tea while solving the puzzle. Then I started taking some toast in with me .
It has progressed to a full breakfast now . I just hope the puzzles don't get so difficult that I have to have lunch on the toilet as well !

Poor 747 rear toilet didn't know what hit it!!
Came out and exclaimed to the queue that had formed behind me "I'd give it until................ well, actually the next leg of the flight if I were you"
We were flying with a greater angle of attack for the remainder of the journey home....
