Default Cars officially found to be greener than buses

As if we didn't know ! Every every 7 tonne bus averaging 6mpg that passes my house usually has 2-3 people on, and they happily advertise that they run 'every 10 minutes'. They should ban them !

Oh yes, loads of subsidies for buses. I don't even think they pay fuel tax on any scheduled route journey - although they do have to pay fuel tax on fuel used to get to and from depots.

Which explains why I see loads of them seemingly abandoned at the side of the road, at off peak times

Yet more proof that they are not really interested in looking after the environment at all.
Its more about restricting our access to private transportation.

DonNedly i think you are right it is about controlling freedom of movement they are trying to force all these restrictions and road pricing through before the zero emission vehicles arrive and they lose the Green agenda to justify the taxes
