Road Angel Signal
Morning All
Probably know the answer but no harm in asking. I have a Road Angel Professional and am struggling to get signal inside the car unless the window is down and its near the window, presumably this is down to the heavily tinted modern windscreens you get now days.
I know you can get an external antenna but do they work that well?.
If it makes any difference its on a mercedes cl63
used to have the classic road angel and never had this issue.
Cheers

I had a Road Angel Sat-Nav a few years ago. It was cr.ap at getting a signal.
Got lost one night in a City Centre while on a night out with friends. Decided to turn the Sat-Nav on. After 40mins it still didn't find a signal.
Eventually, we found where we needed to be. More through luck, as the fecking Sat-Nav still wasn't showing a signal.
Got out of the car. Grabbed the Sat-Nav off the windshield, and proceeded to launch it as hard as I could into the car park floor. Despite losing all that money, it felt good watching it explode into many pieces.
Went out the next day and bought a Tom Tom instead.

Can't help you with the RA. My classic always was a bit slow to lock on.
You're not driving a car with quick clear windscreen are you?
If you've got a phone with Sat-nav, I can recommend co-pilot live
