Default Every part of me says scam!!

As above, if you look at the price of this compared to others then look at other things they're selling then they are unbelievably cheap. They have feedback but I suppose with a bit of effort that can be manipulated

Would be the first time I have heard off a scam via Amazon and would like to think they run a fairly tight ship to keep on top off this sort off thing. funny enough was in Curries today and noticed that particular model, did not take any notice off the price but all I can say is everything is pure quality, even the mouse itself is lovely !!

what did surprsie me is the price computers are comming down to now , there highest priced desktop was £600 so possibly just trying to keep things level.

what price do they normally sell at ??

P.S update - just noticed its priced at £1288.70 by Amazon direct..!! eh either a price error or they are not strictly brand new ? possibly give amazon a phone / email to confirm re. this company ??

After a little detective work, the guy lives in Bourne, lincolnshire, he has an ebay account and has good feedback, what is suspect and shouts scam is that the amazon advert says email a totally different account for stock check. I would say the guy has had his amazon account hacked.

Surely they are just selling for what they are really worth .... ie. removing the 'Apple Geeky ****' Factor?

methinks you are correct about the hacking -- i have emailed the seller to check his prices............

It has been changed now, it was £600 and everything else was almost half the price it should be. Albob emailing the seller must have alerted them to the prices.

Mmmm. Looking at the other products, it goes from three pages of top of the range computers to, well, complete rubbish toys and cds.

Sadly a hacked account.

Tricky......

I ordered the usual x-mas prezzies through Amazon and for some reason the order was duplicated...........38 items turned into twice that number which arrived

All was OK with the Amazon Stuff but the "Amazon Market place" was a bit trickier...some just said keep the duplicated stuff as it was cheaper to ignore it but some were a bit of a pain..

It's a bit hit and miss with Amazon Marketplace sellers as they don't have the protection of being "amazon" and Amazon will wash their hands of any problems with them.....there was a Watchdog program on the telly about 2 years ago....

Your contract is still with Amazon who took payment. So they cannot completely wash their hands of it unless you pay outside of the marketplace (which is how some of the scams work I understand).

I had an Amazon marketplace seller make my life difficult. I bought a toy (collectors item) and what arrived was not what was in the photograph.

He was adamant it was (although Stevie Wonder would have spotted the difference) and made it very difficult for me to get a refund.

received an email asking to email the seller (hacker) outside amazon marketplace (i.e. lose any protection....)

if you look at the sellers page now there are only 4 items (and they are toys )

scammer thwarted !!
