Show us your Road Bikes :)
Seeing as Micky has started a MTB picture thread I thought I'd do the same for us Road Bikers
Here's my current bike.
BMC SLC01 Pro Machine (As ridden by Cadel Evans to win the Tour de France)
Full BMC/Easton Carbon Fibre Frame (Hand made in Switzerland)
Shimano Dura Ace 7800 Groupset
Easton Carbon Fibre EC90 Seatpost
Easton Carbon Fibre EC90 Stem
Fizik Antares Saddle
Easton Carbon Fibre EC90 SLX Forks
Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL Wheelset
FSA Carbon Pro Handle Bars
LOOK Keo Carbon Pedals
Whole thing weighs sub 16Lbs. The frame is a total work of art. The worlds first to be manufactured out of one piece of Carbon Fibre. Even the seat post binder is part of the frame and has to be tightened with a torque wrench to 5nm for the top bolt and 8nm for the bottom. The only part of the entire frame that is not carbon is the threads for the bottom bracket
Very very stiff in and out of the saddle, makes a great climber and a even better sprinter. After all if it's good enough for Cadel Evans then it's always going to be far far too good for me

The day I got it.
Several thousand miles later, I've upgraded to ultegra shifters and changed the tyres......that's it. Keep wanting a better one, but find it hard to justify.

Was going to post a photo of mine but its the same but I think mines a bigger size and looking a bit scruffy after a fair few miles commuting and one unscheduled lie down on a wet roundabout fantastic bike, copes well with my 17st grinding it up hills.

I was always the odd one out at school, some 15 yrs ago,i had a racer and my mates had mountain bikes or bmx`s
i always wanted the brake levers my mum`s racer had, the extra bit that went under the straight part near the headstock area, mens never seemed to have them but made much more sense, anyway,i digress, nice bikes

Same here, mine's the exact model, just a little bit smaller than yours probably.

Mines a 58 with a knackered drivetrain, still rides fine but the chain is very stretched, will need to replace the lot but will wait until spring, I love the bike though, really has lived up to expectations, had a Hybrid (Cannondale Bad Boy) but this is streets ahead, Road bikes are the way forward !
I think people buy MTB's thinking Roadies are fragile, uncomfortable and not capable of anything other than smooth tarmac, ok grip isnt great off road due to the tyres but will cope with a lot more than people think, I find being worse off road a lesser compromise than being worse on road like an MTB as I spend most of my time on road, to be honest a lot of the roads round here are worse than off road, full sus MTB's are useless for anything other than proper off road where they come into their own but as an only bike they suck.
I dont think the Carbon superbikes above would be ideal for my use, suspect I would kill that but the Specialized seems fine, tough enough and still pretty light at 20/21 pounds.
I think MTB's put people off cycling, they all buy them and they are slow, heavy and don't roll, especially the toss most people buy from Halfords, best compromise for not a lot of money is their Subway range, £200 or so, does everything.

Here's my Madone 4.5 on the day I got it home...
The guy in the shop insisted I buy matching Bontrager bidons, and Look pedals - he may have chucked the bidons in for free, so I wasn't complaining.
Beautiful ride, stupidly fast and twitchy (hit 46mph on the very first trip out) Takes me a trip or two to get used to the completely different dynamics to the Tricross, and then a day or two to get back to before.
