Loss Adjusters
My home insurance company have just informed me that they have handed my claim over to the loss adjusters.
Having only made the one house hold claim before (a few weeks prior to this claim), I have no idea what to expect. Can anyone throw some light on the situation?
Basically the first claim I had was when my water cylinder leaked underneath the flooring and they replaced the floor.
3 weeks or so after a business trip, I came back to find water in the bathroom floor (not previously replaced), anyway after getting a plumber around it turns out the bath was leaking badly and soaked that floor.
Due to the ****e construction of the bathroom, the end of the bath with the pipes is built against a wall with the waste stack surrounding it. So they cannot repair or replace the pipes. They either have to go through the stack, which means re-tiling or rip the bath out which will probably mean re-tiling and a new suite. Also, the floor is fooked as I've had to cut parts away to ensure no water went through to down stairs. I live in a top floor flat.
Is the loss adjuster coming over because I've had two claims in a short space of time?
