They may have an iTunes podcast that you can set to download every week?

Trance? Surely trance disappeared over ten years ago?

No, its Republic in Sheffield. Gatecrasher started in a small venue called The Adelphi then moved to Republic in about 1998.

Trance is still going. It now lives in houses shadow. The closest you will get with Trance being mainstream is cheesy progressive house live Avicii.

A lot of the big names in Trance are still going, but others like Tiesto, have gone hugely downhill and have changed what they play. Fair play though, he does earn over 20 million a year

Trance isn't dead, it's just evolved and expanded into a million sub genres. Of like me your into your 'pure' trance sound there are some very good producers about - you just need to find them.

They were trance, should always have remained trance and for that reason I've lost interest in them. Digital Society, Off The Rails, Rong and Forward are leading trance brands in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester now. Big page on Facebook called the gatecrasher reunion 2000 page which I'm a member on. Planning big things for a massive reunion and maybe just maybe getting Matt Hardwick out of retirement for it.

The spiritual home of trance. It's etched on my skin as a reminder that 'itwillalwaysbewithme'!

A shadow of its former self too, I believe?

Real Trance:

Lost Witness - Happiness Happening

Push - Universal Nation

Finally, a Gatecrasher classic:

Boccaccio Life - The Secret Wish

Can anything come even close to this now? If so I will be off out to buy some glo-sticks!

Rave on!

I took too long to post that Andy, and I hadnt seen what youd said.

Any Gatecrasher reunion needs Scott Bond, for me.

His work with Richard Mowatt aka Solarstone, in particular '3rd Earth' was exceptional. Indeed Scott used it on Garecrasher Resident Transmission 2003.
