Default Posting large item to Germany

As is sods law, Royal Mails price finder is gazumped at the minute and offline.

I wish to post an exhaust system to a member off here in Germany. Couriers etc are coming back at around £80-120 which is laughable. I remember sending a backbox to Denmark for around £20 4 years ago.

Any ideas on a cost? Rough measurements are (over estimated)...
1500mm x 400mm x 500mm with a weight of 20kg.

Thanks.

I expect it to be more than a couple quid but have no idea what to tell said member until I have a rough price. I want very little for the system as it's a standard one but can't justify loosing money to post cheap and front the extra myself to make up the cost.

transglobal express is always who i found the cheapest, they are coming in at £63+VAT using UPS. Thing is it is an oversize package and you are getting charged on the volumetric weight. Measure the actual size as thats going to be the main influence on the cost.

That's the issue. Backbox in particular. How do you get around it though as you measure from the widest points?
