Well... given that I work as an electronic engineer, I spend all day working with prototype, incomplete and defective hardware on a regular basis. So, quite a lot.
Other than that: I'm thinking of replacing my TV soon, and unless anyone desperately wants a 10 year old, big heavy CRT, it'll probably end up going for scrap. Does that count?

I fix more than I break, though sometimes I smash something to make it so I cant spend any more time and money on itl.
As a young lad got given a Top Loading video by my auntie, should have known it was crap, was chuffed as first video in bedroom (bluey's ahoy), well, it kept ****ing up so I got a mate of a mate who did them as foreigners to fix, it, twenty quid, lasted three weks and something else went, another twenty quid, lasted a little while then went mental again and chewed a tape.
My dad was absolutely pissing himself when he saw it land on the path from my bedroom window, didnt half explode, made me feel better, I did it as otherwise I reckon I would be spending twenty quid every week on the POS, did the only decent thing and proceeded to Rumbelows (while ago) and signed on the dotted for 440 quids worth of superb Nicam Panasonic with a remote that didnt need a wire, still have it, still works though the timer didnt pass the millenium test but who ever used that any way, cant bear to throw it, took me three years to pay for the ******, cost me about 800 by the time it was paid !

Killed a PS2 years and years ago after a temper tantrum with Gran Turismo.
I bought a really expensive Sony VHS recorder with my first proper pay check and it never really worked from the off - you know the ones with the mahoosive remote control and the flip front. Was the bane of my life for a while. When I got into DVD and didn't need the VHS it was quite satisfying taking the VHS recorder into the garden and beating the living **** out of it.

My Yamaha AV amp decided to blow last week Started playing radio static through one channel, then switched off. Wouldn't switch on for a while, and now comes on for 2 seconds before switching off
At the doctors hoping he can find a cure, or that's £800 gone
