Default The bermuda triangle ??

The Bermuda Triangle - remember as a kid my father telling me about this and remember reading a book on this subject years ago also, when did the last plane / shop vanish and whats your own thoughts on the subject and why its just suddenly stopped ?? belive to this day planes / ships still pass this are without incident ?!

It was always rubbish and these days with accurate GPS tracking things do not easily disappear..

So you saying it was all a hoax, and nothing went mysterously missing after all ?? as I say been a long time since I read the book and yep do appreciatte that technology etc has moved on but would still be interewsted to here other folks views on this subject ??

Basically yes, it is no more or less a dangerous a place than any other part of the ocean. Some of the most high profile unsolved mysteries, either never existed or at least no evidence to suggest they did or were 000s of miles away from the triangle.

All a crock of ****, the last reported disappearance was a few months before the yanks landed on the moon iirc

There are supposedly(and i've seen a programme about it) holes in the earths crust at the Triangle where a lot of air and gases escape. These can change the air above where they come up through the surface of the water and may cause the planes etc to fall from the sky.

Strong currents (Gulf Stream) around the area are supposed to be the cause of ships going down then being dragged along by the current often hundreds of miles away.

Anyone remember the late-70s/early-80s board game, Bermuda Triangle?

I never had it , but do remember it in the toy section of my mum's various club books lol

That was the methane theory. If methane is present in water, nothing can float in it! As far as planes, apparently if enough methane escaped in one go it was possible to down a plane.
