Thumbs up Like dogs and Hiking? This is the book for you!

Its not one of these fictional books, its a real life story about a man and his dog and how his life changed.

He has a blog and the books well worth reading

Interestingly, I had the opposite problem, as I was chilled and had my priorities right, but had a huge hole in my life that something had to plug before I spiralled down into depression.

At this point I took on two dumped collie-X puppies back in 1995..

Along with camping, MTB trips, coastal walks, beach scrambling and many forest visits, they went everywhere I did. But the simplest pleasure would be a dawn walk around six AM., as the sun rose over the horizon.

We had a good decade before their declining health cause a slow down in pace, and now I'm back at square one.

P.S. Look forward to a read next weekend.

Bought the book today, not my normal read but have taken it on recommendation. Will report back in due course. WH Smiths seem to have plenty in stock.
