How many cars could you get in a garage measuring 2260 sq ft?
Me and a mate are thinking about renting out some space to store some odds & sods and more importantly a couple of cars each.
I've found somewhere on Rightmove that may fit the bill, but it's a bit of a trek. Before making arrangments to go a view it I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me how many cars would comfortably fit in a garage measuring 2260 sq ft as I haven't got a clue
TIA

just checked alloy is close 2260 sqft = 209 sqm.
Parking space by definition of most local planning departments is 5m X 2.5m ie 12.5 sqm.
Therefore 16 vehicles,or if you stack them carefully with NO manouvering space ie door handle to door handle and bumper to bumper maybe 20 but this obviously assumes a clear square space
edit to add dont forget if this is agents details they probably will not allow properly for intrusions like supporting walls/columns etc

I've got a bit of time off next week so may have to go and view it, at the moment the only thing I've got to go on is a picture of the front of the place. It's not helped by the fact the front is obscured by a huge skip in the photo

He says it's either 40 x 60 or 50x 50. Given the size of the doors I hazarding a guess that it's the former rather then the latter
Stu, I'll trade you the info for an oil filter

youll be surprised how many youll get in, with a couple of ramps in youll get a few more
we had to bring in around 25 motors per night and then out again in morn.
that teaches you how to drive lol, absolute no room for error literally wing mirror to wing mirror, plus ther was a room off the main space we could squeeze 3 cars into, such a tight angle, reversing out was the worst part lol.

10 cars.... 2 bikes... and a few boxes
You also need to know if it has any support posts internally as that could stuff up your plans somewhat...

Well they are not very sporting anyway.
The old electric trolleybuses used to get off the mark pretty fast though. They had a very big flywheel which was kept spinning and when the clutch was engaged you would almost expect they could do a wheelie!
