Anyone advise what the total selling / final value fees and finally paypal fees would roughly be on selling an item on ebay priced at around £600.

would this be different if I listed the item with a buy it now price as opposed to auction ie. is it more expensive to advertse at a buy it now price ?

planning on listing something around this value and just wondered how much they would rob you if the item sold ??!!

Okay cheers , so say £60 for selling the item,a listing fee of a couple of quid and then your PayPal fees on top of this,what would be the fees on something like £600-hate to think ?!

It's not quite that bad. You're looking at around 10% total for Ebay end-of-auction sale price commission and Paypal fees combined, plus the couple of quid listing fee.

Edit:
Actual figures are insertion fee, plus 10% final-value fee up to a max of £40*, plus Paypal fees of 2.9%.

It would be about 30 quid. I sell lots on there the fees are a pain but it opens it up to a larger market so I just swallow them
