Default Pots and Pans

Looking to get a new set of pots and pans, this time we want some that a fairly decent. Now, I know some of you guys are into your kitchen knives, just wondering if anyone knew anything about pans/pots.

Just spotted these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Circulon-Inf...T#lbhuc_055156

They look really good & fantastic value. The feed back looks very positive as well.
I am a great believer in spending on stuff you will use every day.You will get pleasure every time you use them & they will work out cheaper in the long run.Like tools, beds, shoes.

I bought a set of Prestige copper bottomed pans 11 years ago & they still look as good now!

We have a set of the Circulon Elite which were on offer at Makro... Nice and good quality, but being coated aluminium, are not dishwasher proof nor suitable for induction hobs (which is why the Elite is a bit cheaper to what you are looking at). So basing my views on the Elite range their Infinite range should be better.

They are all made by the Meyer group anyway.....our last pots and pans were made by Prestige and lasted donkeys years...Guess who owns them? Same company as Circulon!

Just missed out on a set of FIVE solid copper pans in France, second hand, for €30 the lot.

Wife ummed and ahhed, then walked away. When we went back, they were gone

I'd go for decent stainless steel along with a couple of ordinary non-sticks for regular use, especially frying.

Weve had Circulon before but recently changed to these and they are expensive but just so good.

Yes that has happened to Mrs Leslie too with a bargain. Never walk away,it will almost certainly be gone later.
