driving experience days

I drove a Formula Ford round Daytona once, great experience, especially on the big banking.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and I bet you would too, but can't recommend anywhere in this country.
Must be somewhere that will do that. Maybe at Castle Combe in Wilts, worth looking them up, I know they do driving experience courses there.

Don't know how much you want to spend, but I'd give PalmerSport a call at Bedford and see if they still let you drive just the single seaters? It doesn't look to be advertised anymore, but worth a call.

Did this at Donnington a couple of years back. Got it at a good price on HotUKDeals, about £60 IIRC. The cars were rough as Hell old Formula Vauxhauls, I think 2 litre Cavalier engines but in a 600kg chassis. Gearboxes were like a military truck.
Started raining as we took to the track and almost everyone span off over the 20 or so laps we did, except me which was very satisfying, especially when the tutor/pace driver span off in front of me. He didn't seem to like it when I gestured to him about having a cup of Gold Blend as I passed him slipping about on the grass Donnington is under the final approach to East Mids Airport, and thus gets sprayed with aviation fuel as planes reverse thrust on final approach (I was told), so when it rains it's like a frying pan

I think Palmersport at Bedford is the ultimate although not cheap.
I did some filming there when I was at college and although i didn't get to drive as i wasn't old enough it certainly is an impressive place

I done the silverstone single seater experience last month very good afternoon out.
1.6l 150bhp ford engine felt fast enough for me, Very heavy clutch tho and gear stick on the right. My fastest lap was .002 faster than my brother thats the main thing. couple of pics of the cars.
