Sad to see that Jimmy Saville, a man so fashionable they named a row of shops after him, has died at 84.

The people of Sports Direct Road must be devastated.

A sad day, I guess lot of us grow up with hm on TV when there were only 3 channels Jim'll Fit it and TOTP.

Not forgetting the Cigars and it has to be noted the man was a true pioneer of bling

The amazing charidee work and the gold lamé tracky bottoms in the Marathons.

A true Brtish character without a doubt.

RIP Sir Jim'll

I always liked him but some of the staff at Stoke Mandiville (the nurses anyway
) said he was a bit too hands on (them) unfortunately; due to his charity work he thought he could get away with anything.

the passing of a legend.

It is thought he raised well over £40million for various charities over the years.

He was the figurehead for a campaign in the early eighties called Play It Safe. Does anyone remember it? I seem to recall lots of harrowing photos of injured kids, things like burns and lacerations.
