Default New lows for ambulance chasers?

Just had to rewind and rewatch an advert as I was totally stunned. HM Solicitorss are offering a FREE Ipad with every claim.

What is the world coming to?

Always makes me wonder about these types. Surely, you go off to study law (at great expense) without the career aim to be simply filing papers about made up whiplash? The quacks that do the assessment are as bad.

When I went to hospital with neck pains they gave me a leaflet on advice for neck exercises, on the back was a company to call to make a claim!

This kind of thing is no different from corruption and should be stopped TBH, I don't know how they get away with it.

Every one of us suffers as a result of this through increased insurance.

Goes both ways doesnt it. Because you pay more for insurance, you are more likely to want more money back should the accident happen.

Is it 'every claim' or 'every successful claim'?

Well there's a place in Keighley (surprise, surprise) that advertises at giving you £500 cash up front before the claim is put through !

It was on radio Leeds again this morning that bradistan and keighley are the worst places for the crash 4 cash - nothing seems to be getting done to stop it though

Its easy money why fight a big legal battle for possible criminal when you can use your law degree to make money filling papers.

Totally agree. They are nothing more than leeches. I detest them with a passion. Am off work this week, and every other advert on daytime tv (which is cack btw) is these scumbags.

Insurers are now refusing to offer cover in areas of high personal injury claims.

The some of the worst ones are Bradford, Luton, Birmingham, Leicester, Halifax and Huddersfield.

London is getting VERY bad now, and will be the next that most insurers refuse to quote for.

Is that full insurance or just the injury part of the cover?

They will soon be stopping referral fees.

The bloody government started it,getting rid of legal aid and encouraging no win no fee.

We will have the American system soon, lawyers taking a cut of the 'winnings'.

Completely embarrassing

They can't exclude the injury part, so the simple way around it is to refuse to insure people in high risk PI claim areas.

Unfortunately it's the decent and honest people who are accidently driving into the dodgy ones still.

Yes.... it's beyond a joke, but untill the courts/government make it harder to claim PI it'll carry on happening.

The law is on the side of those claiming.
