Pikeys kicked out of Meriden...
Meriden travellers lose greenbelt appeal!!
Just in case any cheerful travelling folks are reading this, here are a few clues on how to establish a permanent base (despite you being so-called travellers)...
That way, maybe, just maybe, you will be accepted just like every other law abiding, tax paying, community engaging person!

- Don't try to set up in greenbelt land
- Apply for planning permission "up front" and not retrospectively
- Don't submit your retrospective planning permission immediately before a Bank Holiday Weekend
- Don't immediately bring in diggers to desecrate the site
That way, maybe, just maybe, you will be accepted just like every other law abiding, tax paying, community engaging person!

...however, according to the BBC article "The decision does not mean the council can evict the travellers from the site." - and it took ten years for the Dale Farm scum to finally be kicked out (or maybe not - Dale Farm clearance stopped after bats found) .
The poor locals have had nearly a year and a half of non-stop pressure to obtain a judgement confirming that the pikeys shouldn't be there. Hopefully the execution of the law will be somewhat quicker this time?
