Question Anyone work for DVLA ???

back before the 11 plate came out I contacted DVLA and said I wanted to buy WO 11 ETT and was told I would get an update when it came out for sale..

I didn't get this update and when i contacted them they said that the plate had been sold to a dealer....

Anyone know how I can buy it now as when I search on ASKMID it comes up as not insured. - I hope this means it isn't in use.

Ignore the above post mate. Had a play around with that site and it just tells you the year of the plate and the part of UK the first letters refer to.

I looked up my private plate on that site which starts N44, site says it was registered in Reading between 1995/96 which is bu11sh*t as I purchased it around 2004 directly from DVLA.

Few I'm hoping it hasn't been used. Or if it is then I will need to find the car - tourch it and buy the carcus... then take the plate.
