The Devil Inside

Trailer at IMDB:

http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi1191026201/

It's looking good from what I saw on the trailer and the story is sticking to a good subject matter (and one that we can relate to in real life) i.e. religion and exorcism (with the aforementioned demonic possession that goes with it).

I like the premise, it's not over the top and from what I can tell so far it's not trying to be another Exorcist movie or a OTT shocker like most modern horrors.

This movie reminds me of another creepy one in my "Top 10 horror filems" list, i.e. The Exorcism of Emily Rose (which was mostly based on some real life event in Germany). That movie scared the crap out of me mainly because it played on my imagination rather than just spazzing the screen out with CGI crap and big sound effects.

Most modern movies try too hard to tell you what to think, feel and hear when you're in the cinema watching a movie. I like movies like this one as they go back to the old 80's/90's formula of "less is more" and leave it up to your imagination to do the work...which can be a roller coaster ride for some people

Anyone got any other creepers they love, ones that freak you out intellectually and through the visuals/audio?

It looks like a cross between paranormal activity and Blair witch project.

Disturbingly, i quite enjoyed Ghost Ship the other day. Worth a watch. It's a few years old now.

Personally, i want to see Human Centipede 2.

The second has been given an 18 rating now after having 30 odd cuts.

Had heard it was a sick film but that makes me more intreged.
