Default new ford focus advert

maybe been done before

but brakes that apply themselves from radra(i presume) feedback

dangerous, whats the fail-safe system, a failure in component lead to brake application when not needed, maybe 70mph - accident waiting to happen

and self parking, ie reverse parking into tight spaces? how does it measure the space attempted to get into - presume again radar to read curb distance?

what do people generally think of this?

obv a marketing gimmek, but workable/reliable and not dangerous?

Do you pass the time sitting and wondering what might be the next thing to go wrong?

If you need help in braking and reverse parking you shouldn't be driving in the first place.

I think it's for old people.

I much prefer the new cruise control systems that follow the car infront at a safe distance until there is no one in front of you and gets you back up to 70.

the auto braking only happens upto 19 mph and most accidents are when you think the person infront has gone at a junction or island then bang youve ran into the back of em and secondly i dont remeber you mentioning the auto park when the lexus brought it out and secondly if they do go wrong oh well it happens what happens if your steerin column uv joint breaks as you go round a bend theres nothing to stop it happening why waiste your life worrying about it just get in it and drive
