Default Bye Bye REM

They have split up.

I always liked them and was lucky enough to see them in concert a couple of times.

They haven't produced very much in the last few years anyway...

Many years ago I used to think of them as an irritating arty farty band (sorry!). As I got older I recognised them as being pretty decent actually!

Always found their albums contained a lot of fillers, sad to see them go all the same.

Same here.

I first heard them back in the late '80's but didn't like them much.
Will listen to them a lot more now.

'Radio Free Europe' and 'It's the End of the World' are for me, their best two singles.

Saw them at Glastonbury a few years back and was really impressed, wouldn't really class myself as a fan until then.

Shame they are splitting up as I would have liked to see them live again but the did seem to be running out of ideas musically perhaps
