Just saw an advert for the new focus and it's fancy gadgets. I have to say I'm impressed but I would have thought Volvo would of paitened the auto brake technology like ford have with their headed front screens...

Or maybe ford might share?

Its bound to go wrong eventually and the car will get stuck on a motorway or somewhere just as inconvenient.

I doubt Ford of Volvo actually made the software that controls it. Most large companies now outsource a lot of their software development these days.

It is interesting anyway. They do have auto braking on airliners these days and it seems to work well enough.
