Default Any BMX experts? "Rooster Big Daddy"

My son has asked for a BMX for Xmas, and has mentioned a "Rooster big daddy", I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these?

They seem to be quite cheap (to my surprise), so I'm wondering if it's going to be crap/heavy etc and fall to bits. Or is this a good starting price for these bikes, I have seen them online for around £130.

Failing that if anyone could offer up any other suggestions, that would be great. As he is going to be 12 I suspect that it being a cool one will be more important than anything else anyway.

He should know what everyone is after, more than likely he's just gone of what everyone thinks is the best, which to be fair (if your ok with it) will make him look good

£130 still seems a lot for a BMX to be tw@'d about ..

If you want to get him something that will last a few years haro is still one of the biggest BMX brands but dont seem to have much avavible in the UK currently,
brands that i ride or have riden and would recommend for a decent BMX that will last and is good to use,

From memory, looking cool/good is vitally important when your that age, well from that age onward actually.

He does respect and look after his stuff, so don't mind spending that on him.

I had a quick look at a few of those, they do seem to be quite a bit more, at least double from the ones I saw.

They are but its one of those things where get what you pay for.
The difference from riding a cheaper bmx to one of these is massive.

My son has a Rooster Big Momma and it is cool as ****. Seriously though, it's a little heavy but my son has just turned ten and he manages it.
