pathetic, getting expelled and community service and a fine is a joke, he should of got a slap on the wrists at worst..
most of us saw the eejits burning usa flags in london recently, and more upsetting for me the people burning uk flags when soldiers were repatriated, what will happen to them? nothing is my guess, in fear of upsetting someone probably...

It's a shame that it's one rule for some but not others. I think the punishment is fitting just that everyone with a similar crime should get the same.

British police scared to prosecute in case they upset a migrant minority.
Not sure but im pretty sure i didnt vote for that.
Anyway its half 6 im of to work - taxes to pay ,benefits to fund you know how it goes

It does seem strange that there seems to be a law available to stop this type of offence but its not enforced.
British police management scared to allow bobbies to arrest and put files to the CPS who are too scared prosecute in case they upset a migrant minority.
Not sure but im pretty sure i didnt vote for that.

Back to the topic; it should be one rule for all, not one rule subjectively applied according to ethnicity.

our flag and the union jack cop for more burnings and defacings than you could mention but no ones arrested, why?
stinks of making an example of racism to me, totally over the top punishment to appease the minorities again, complete load of bollocks, i wonder if the judge was of the same religion, my mate got less for breaking someones nose ffs!

Scotland has a different judical system to the rest of the UK. it has a law against sectarianism (which this offence, presumable, would come under....?) = hence the different treatment
